About Us
Cardinal Restoration LLC. was founded in April of 2012 by John Freeman and John Bishop. Our vision came from years of watching insurance companies take advantage of people who lacked knowledge and understanding of how the claims process works.

Our goal at Cardinal Restoration is to provide quality customer service to all of our clients, to give our knowledge, support, and experience to each and everyone who needs us. Our Motto is "Customers don"t care how much you know til they know how much you care".
"THE DOS AND DONT'S OF PROPERTY DAMAGE CLAIMS"

When John and I came to the conclusion that the Homeowners needed to have representation much like going to court you would not represent yourself would you?. The insurance companies love it when they show up and it”s just the homeowner. John and I both were working for other companies at the time and were tired of watching people getting denied when they had obvious damage that exceeded their deductibles. Adjusters use terms like "lack of maintenance or installer defects" or "I’m sorry but your deductible is more than the damage you incurred." These are terms that an everyday Joe/Sue don”t understand and unfortunately they have been doing this for a very long time. I know that many people have a long time friendship with their agent and feel like if they question them they would be offended, We have learned that yes your agent may be your friend but when a claim is filed, It is not the agent who comes out to adjust the damage. Another myth is that homeowners think they should call their agent when a storm passes through, this is a mistake because hail claim specialists can give you information that will help to see whether or not they are being honest. While yes the adjuster is supposed to be fair and make sure they include all damages in their assessment, but this is not always the case. Because of the amount of claims received each year some claims are denied and then after so many days the claim is closed. That means the homeowner will have to wait til the next storm to file again. In the meantime More storms, wind and rain wash the shingle dust out of the indentations that the Hail left. And then the roof begins to leak and all the while the homeowner thinks that their roof is fine. I have seen this too many times. Cardinal Restoration LLC represents homeowners, not Insurance companies. I am currently working with a mother and daughter who had pipes burst in their bathroom which has caused major damage. The insurance company waited a week to get an adjuster out there and they depreciated everything so much that they are having to pay out of their pockets. I am in contact with them and will not quit until they are reimbursed for their out of pocket expenses as well as the suffering they have incurred due to mold. Not only did they get screwed by the insurance company, but they also hired a friend to do the work for them. I have had the pleasure of doing work for friends in the past and I have to say that usually it does not end well. first of all the friend did not know how to read the insurance paperwork so now they have spent a bunch of money that was not approved by the insurance co. if this was easy anybody could do it, but most people don”t have the stamina to go the distance so they give up. That is exactly what the insurance company is hoping for. We don”t give up and we have been on both sides of the fence. I hope that the information enclosed will help someone who has had this type of horror story,.

If you had damage from last years storms and think that you have been low balled or denied, give us a call. We would be more than happy to look at your paperwork and make sure that you are being treated fairly. You should always call a roof inspector first because, why call the insurance company if you don”t have any damage. always make sure the inspector shows pictures of your damage. don”t take their word for it. some companies look at it as a numbers game and sign anybody, damage or not which causes you to make a claim for nothing. So please be careful. I hope this gives folks a little insight.
